I vår tid og kultur råder en tro på at jo mer, jo fortere, jo hardere – jo bedre! Ubalanse og helseproblemer, spesielt det som ikke går over med et skippertak, kaller ofte på en mykere tilnærming. Østens tradisjoner når det gjelder fysisk, sjelelig og åndelig helse, vektlegger det langsomme, det indre, og det lille. Øyeblikket fremfor fortid og fremtid, veien fremfor målet, helheten fremfor delene. Qigong er kinesiske helseøvelser og kalles ofte for meditasjon i bevegelse eller akupunktur uten nåler. Kursleder Merete Sparre www.tropos.no er utdannet psykomotorisk fysioterapeut, kommunikolog og lærer i  taiji, qigong og meditasjon. Hun arbeider som kurs- og foredragsholder og driver en veiledningstjeneste spesielt for mennesker med ME og andre med kronisk utmattelse. Merete er forfatter av boken Balansenøkler – om å balansere kroppen og livet.
